The WCMA Road Race Summer Series has started for the 2019 season, with the open race weekend taking place May 24 – 26th.
The Winnipeg Sports Car Club hosted their first Road Racing event of the season this past weekend at Gimli Motorsports Park with a practice day on Friday, followed by two days of racing on Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday’s race was marked by a massive oil leak on the track, which resulted in delays as the crew of volunteers and racers worked to clean the track and have it safe for racing.
